Both towers at the Orchid Beach Club have "topped off," meaning the top floors have been poured with concrete. The 54-unit luxury condominium is being developed by Tom Brown and Jay Tallman of U.S. Assets Group. Completion of the two, 11-story towers is expected in summer 2005. Boran, Craig, Barber and Engel Construction Co. (BCBE) is the general contractor. Floor plans range from 2,936 square feet with estate-size penthouses of more than 5,900 square feet. Three residences in The Bay View Tower and six in The Gulf View Tower are still available. Private elevators lead directly to each residence. Features include al fresco kitchens on terraces, gourmet kitchen with European appliances, master suites with morning bars and under-the-counter refrigerators and whirlpool bathtubs. Residents will share a pool with water feature, pool-side cabanas, an entertaining pavilion and interior courtyard of tropical flowers and foliage. The club level will include a concierge desk, lounge with wet bar and fireplace, private dining salon with caterer's kitchen, billiards room, library and two guest suites.
