Senior Manager
Steve actively participates in all areas of project and firm management at U.S. Assets Group including sales and marketing, design, construction and staffing. He designed and administered comprehensive financial models for two key development projects: The Founders Club, a $130 million golf course community; and the Orchid Beach Club, a $100 million beachfront condominium residence. He further participated in the market analysis and design of a $26 million golf cottage product at The Founders Club. In addition, he revamped and currently manages websites for U.S. Assets Group and its projects.
Steve is also active in the due diligence process for new project proposal. Leveraging his finance, marketing, and real estate expertise, he assesses project profitability, feasibility, and risk exposure.
Steve earned a B. A. degree in Economics and French from the University of Virginia in 1997 and worked for six years as an insurance litigation consultant, initially for Baach Robinson & Lewis in Washington, D.C, (1998-2002), then for Navigant Consulting in Chicago (2002-2004). In 2003, he enrolled in Kellogg School of Management's Managers' Program, finishing the first year of his MBA studies while balancing a full-time workload. In 2004, he joined U.S. Assets Group for an extended internship and then returned to Kellogg to complete his studies full-time through June 2005. Despite his full-time academic workload, he maintained his responsibilities at U.S. Assets Group. Brown completed his MBA with majors in Real Estate, Finance, and Marketing.
